Default Everlasting Keg/Drink

Why a Everlasting Keg???

Was thinking about having this as an expensive item in Gold Zaishen coin slot (like the Everlasting Crate of fireworks for example) , It would then be really helpfull for skills that require you to be drunk like "Drunken Master". Thing is once you have reached Max drunk which I have ages ago now it makes it really annoying that you have to waste points afterwards but even more annoying that you have to stand around in towns asking to buy booze from players to get max benefit from these type of skills.

I would rather spend 500k on a El Keg and save all the aggro.

Disagree/agree????

As you say yourself you wasted all the points on a meaningless title already but you find it even worse having to waste more when it actually gives you a benefit in the game.

Has the world gone mad?

Given almost any halfwit can make 100k per day without any fuss at all, and it takes minutes to buy alcohol then short answer: NO!

100% agree on that.
These days its easy to make money .
And if wasting points annoys you - what are you going to do when you have done other titles - eg luxon/kurz/sunspear/eotn etc ? Stop playing the game as you will get pointless points to waste ?
Its almost xmas fest and theres going to be a lot of party points and drunk points.

I actually think this is a good idea, I long ago got max drunkard on my ranger yet still have to pop alcohol to gain the benefits from skills like dwarven stability. Maybe not an everlasting keg but maybe just give people that have achieve the ale hound title the benefit of these skills regardless of their current intoxication level.

Why not just make an Everlasting Keg that doesn't add to the Drunkard title, but works as alcohol for all skills that require being drunk? Same concept as the Everlasting Crate of Fireworks.

That way you still have regular alcohol as a money sink, and a new item that doesn't require the player to choose between maxing a title ASAP or saving alcohol to use for gameplay.

This I would support.

While I personally don't use dwarven skills in my everyday playing, for those who do (and can afford it), it would be beneficial.

I also support the idea of having it as a Zaishen reward.

That is what i actually meant in my opening post lol, thats why i said same as everylasting crate of fireworks, seems people missed my point.

----------

P.s before anyones says "you said 500k" its because i meant you have to purcahse the EL and it not just be free but dont count towards title same same as EL Fireworks. Sorry if i mislead anyone in Opening thread.

/signed if like crate of fireworks as in the op; all the stated reasons for it are valid.

As long as it gives no points, I don't give one way or another.

It's pretty silly to have it drinkable but not give any points -- why not instead just having it in your inventory gives you the benefits of drunk for the purposes of Drunken Master and whatnot?

I see no harm in that, as long as the Everlasting version gives no points.
It would be nice if the blurr effect was dim enough to see.

Same for Sweetness. There could be an Everlasting Sugary Drink that gives you the buff permanently but no points.
Oh, and don't forget the Dragon's Nest minigame, there should be an anti-speed-up effect like Muddy Terrain in there so no one uses sweets for anything but moving fast in towns.

It's a great idea imo, it's very useful for using both in casual PvE and SCs when you need to use alcohol, but can't be arsed to get it..

They're updating Nich soon, so keep your fingers crossed then I guess

And just to confirm, 4 times I have been in kamaden today over the course of 15hours, and have once failed to buy some, once managed to get a keg after 5mins and other 2 times it took 1 hour to buy drink. granted you can buy drink 5mins every time if you wanna pay like 40k for a keg lol.

/not signed because consumables are just that.... consumable

The reason there is an everlasting crate of fireworks is because it doesnt actually provide any benefit in any way to anyone. This however does. Not only would it be bad for the economy of alcohol, but it would then introduce more complaining people about other everlasting consumables that shouldnt exist.

Also there is no way you stood in kamadan for that long without some1 selling alcohol for a moderate price. Especially with the surplus of halloween alcohol.
